The Japanese based automaker Toyota has recently released a new promotional video with the GT 86 which is being aired in the Philippines.
After it was officially presented to the public earlier this year and right after that hitting several markets throughout the world, the Toyota GT 86 is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the car manufacturer releasing a new promotional video with the sports car. Toyota says that this video is “aimed” towards the Philippines and, just as you can see by clicking play, it’s revealing some interesting driving footage of the model.
As a quick reminder, the Toyota GT 86 is powered by the same engine as the Subaru BRZ or the Scion FR-S, which is the 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol unit, borrowed by Subaru and fitted with the company’s D-4S direct injection. The petrol engine is developing a total output of 187 horsepower, at 7,000 rpm, and it has a peak torque of 205 Nm (151 lb-ft), available at 6,600 rpm. The unit is mated to a six-speed manual in standard, or to a six-speed automatic, which will be available as an option. You can watch the new promo for the Philippines below. Enjoy!
