The Japanese based automaker has released the first teaser video with the upcoming i-road concept, ahead of the model’s official debut scheduled for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show next week.
The newest creation signed by Toyota is named the i-road concept and the model will be officially presented to the public next week, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere. In order to place it into the spotlights for the first time, the Japanese based automaker has released a first teaser video with the model, but if you’re hoping to see something interesting in it, you’re in for a disappointment, because all you have to do in order to see the i-road is to wait for the Swiss automotive event.
The Toyota i-road concept is coming with a 1+1 tandem seating arrangement and it has been developed for city use. The model is a zero-emission vehicle which is expected to make its way onto the market in a final production form. If it will indeed be launched by Toyota, the i-road will probably be a direct rival for the Renault Twizy. Additional details on the i-road concept are limited for the moment and will be announced during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, on the 5th of March.
