Toyota has recently released a new promotional video with the Yaris Hybrid model which was recently launched at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
After being officially presented to the public at the Swiss automotive event and with its starting price set at 16,950 euros, the Toyota Yaris Hybrid is once again placed into the spotlights by the Japanese based automaker, by revealing a promotional video which, in our opinion, is very boring. According to the car manufacturer, the Toyota Yaris Hybrid will be available in three trim levels.
The entry-level version of the model will come with features like the seven airbags, including knee airbag for the driver, LED daytime running lights, electronic stability control, height and reach-adjustable steering wheel, electric front windows, central locking, power mirrors, height-adjustable driver’s seat and dual-zone climate control.
The mid-level “Life” will be adding USB connectivity, steering wheel controls, Bluetooth, rearview camera, ECO-Drive monitor, 6.1-inch color touch screen and the Toyota Touch multi-media system for 17,900 euros, while for 19,200 euros, the top of the line “Club” trim will become available, packing height adjustment for the passenger seat, glove compartment with cooling function, electric rear windows, heated mirrors, roof spoiler, fog lights, engine start/stop and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Under the hood, the new Toyota Yaris Hybrid is powered by a 1.5 liter VVT-i petrol engine and an electric motor, which are developing a total output of 98 horsepower, mated to a CVT (continuously variable automatic transmission) which is allowing the model to burn just 3.5 liters of fuel every 100 km and emit 79 g/km of CO2. The Yaris Hybrid will be launched in Germany on the 16th of June.
