The team shooting the latest installment in the Transformers franchise, “The Last Knight”, has now been spotted in the English capital – and luckily for use a handful of supercars were there for our joy.
We last saw the crews filming in Detroit, Michigan, and we know they’re all pretty busy shooting Transformers 5 as the movie premieres on June 23 next year. For the London shoot we caught wind of a McLaren acting as camera car – which means very high speeds and a slew of supercars would be involved. One of the most spectacular entries in the new installment is the ultra-exclusive Lamborghini Centenario Coupe, one of just 20 examples built to order for a pre-tax price of $1.9 million. Movie director Michael Bay has already revealed the in-move character portrayed by the sold-out, Aventador-based Centenario – which fortunately is on the good side, played by Autobot “Hot Rod”.
We already know an all-new installment of the Chevrolet Camaro – overly customized for our taste though – will be on point playing “Bumblebee”, while its nemesis will be a Ford Mustang pursuit car in police livery which is the vehicle mod for the Decepticon Barricade. There were also an Aston Martin DB11 and a McLaren 570S, but it’s still unknown at this point which characters will they portray.
