The first official video for the U.S.-spec version of the Alfa Romeo 4C has been launched by the car manufacturer, revealing the model from just about every angle.
Driving footage of sports cars will continue to sell vehicles long after we will be gone and Alfa Romeo couldn’t fail with such a strategy of promoting its U.S.-spec version of the 4C overseas. The vehicle in question has made its video debut thanks to the Chrysler Group and we have to tell you that despite looking pretty much identical to the one found on the Old Continent, it is quite different.
The model in question is weighing 1,050 kg (2,315 lbs), unlike the European version which stands at 895 kg (1973 lbs). The model has received aluminum enforcements to the monocoque, modified substructures and a new fuel system. Power is being provided by a 1.75 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, rated at 240 HP (177 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to the TCT dual clutch transmission. Prices for the model will stand at 53,900 USD this fall, when it will be introduced, but if you want if faster, be prepared to spend 68,400 USD for the Launch Edition.
