The U.S. based tuner Underground Racing has tweaked one of the hottest supercars of the moment, the Ferrari 458 Italia, boosting its power up to 700 HP, and after it has placed it near a Lamborghini Aventador, a quarter mile race was inevitable.
The aftermarket specialists at Underground Racing say that they have fitted the Ferrari 458 Italia with a bolt on system stage one which has boosted its power up to 700 HP, compared to the standard 562 HP at 9.000 rom and 540 Nm at 6.000 rom from the 4.5 liter V8. There’s no word on the transmission but we assume it remained the same in the shape of the seven-speed dual-clutch.
You’d probably think that the Lamborghini Aventador’s V12 engine and all-wheel drive technology would be an obvious advantage over the 458 Italia and that the Ferrari doesn’t even stand a chance.
