The North American based automaker Chevrolet has recently released a new video with the 2014 SS, showing the official unveil of the performance sedan.
After it was unveiled over the weekend, the 2014 Chevrolet SS is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker releasing a new video with the model, showing its history in motorsport and also its public debut, alongside its powerful brothers running in NASCAR. The brand new 2014 Chevrolet SS is coming with a MacPherson strut front and a multilink independent rear suspension, with a Brembo Braking system and with 19.85-inch and 19.9-inch wheel front to rear, wrapped in 245/40 and 275/35 tires.
Power to the 2014 Chevrolet SS is being provided by the LS3 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 415 HP (309 kW) and 415 lb-ft of torque (562 Nm), which makes the model just 35 HP (26 kW) and 35 lb-ft (47 Nm) of torque less powerful than the new-gen Corvette Stingray. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission which is allowing the model to sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in approximately 5 seconds.
