There’s a new year ahead of us but let’s linger for another moment within the sweet confines of the recently concluded vacation – which for many of us also involved snow.
We’re utterly saddened that it didn’t also involve a Lamborghini Gallardo and Audi R8 – but at least we can show you how some people choose to not confine their supercars to a garage all winter long. Actually some people confine their supercars to a garage all year long but that’s another issue we have with those that have the means – but not the wits – to enjoy these spectacular rides. Anyways, here we have two “youngtimers” – the first generation Audi R8 and the Lamborghini Gallardo, which are both group siblings and friendly rivals. There’s also a cameo from a Mercedes-AMG GL63, but after all we’re dealing with a snowy day.
The action has taken place somewhere safe – as we always urge you to do – at the Autodrome in Saint-Eustache, Quebec, Canada, with the description of the clip talking about the supercars hitting 100 mph (160 km/h). While these speeds might be a bit overrated, we’ll give the drivers their share of the fame – these AWD beasts have no electronic control for the system so the skills are the ones taking primetime here. Check the video to see how becoming a snow plow changes the appearance of a supercar but also to find out who won the battle.
