[Video] Vintage Porsche 911 SC RS plays in the snow on the Nurburgring image

We’re not here just to deliver you all the tedious information about the latest micro car or how VW cheated at those emissions tests and claims no one inside the company knew.

No, we’re actually here to share our passion with all of you – gearheads or not – because we really like cars and the vast possibilities they provide. For example, if you’re covered in snow or just the opposite looking outside at the lack of it, this video down below might lift your spirit throughout this new work week. That’s because it depicts a period in Porsche’s history when rally racing was the latest irk for the Germans – and they scratched it by providing the 1984 Porsche 911 SC RS, with a 290-horsepower soul and all the bells and whistles needed to tackle both asphalt and dirt. Or snow, for that matter…

We’re talking here about an exclusive vintage racer, since not many units were actually made. But one of them, looking to be in mint conditions, decided it was time to go out and play in the snow. No world rally stages are here, and instead the titular snow has been supplied via the Nürburgring’s GP circuit. The man manhandling the wheel is Patrick Simon, which shows he knows his way around the GP section of the ‘Ring because since we’re talking about snow here there’s no way to see were to direct the nose of the 911 without prior knowledge. And yet, here you have the 911 SC RS acting all like a mad plow and drifting around the bends…
