The Vision SCR can be named the American muscle car of the 21st century if it finally reaches the production line after being in development for almost a decade and being unveiled as a prototype back in 2005 as the SZR.
“The inspiration was to build an American muscle car for the next millennium. This has a 500 horsepower V8, 0 to 60 in about 3.5 seconds. It’s just a fun car to drive”, said its creator, the chief operating officer John Misumi.
If we would take for granted what “Done in 60 Seconds” said, than we should expect a powerful beast if the vehicle will roll off the production line, taking its power from a 6.0 liter V12 which will deliver 700 horsepower and should do the 0 to 60 mph sprint in about three seconds or lower.
Shy customers will be able to choose the base 6.2 liter V8 with “just” 620 horsepower, but the Vision SCR won’t come cheap because rumors are that its creator had paid about 2 million USD to make it.
Until the powerful Vision SCR will hit the streets, if that happens, you can watch the video and photo gallery below. Enjoy!
