Volkswagen has released a couple of videos with the brand new Golf 7 4Motion, revealing the model in action on snowy roads.
Following a short presentation earlier today, the Volkswagen Golf 7 4Motion is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the German based automaker releasing two new videos with the model. In the footages posted below we can see the new Golf 7 while being driven and we can also see some exterior static shots of the newest version of the popular German hatchback, so if you’re looking into buying the model or you’re simply curious about it, just scroll down and click play.
As a quick reminder, the VW Golf 7 4Motion will only be offered with a choice of two TDI diesel engines. The first one will be the 1.6 liter TDI, with its 105 HP (77 kW) and 250 Nm of torque (184 lb-ft), which will allow the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 187 km/h (116 mph), while burning an average of 4.5 L / 100 km (62.7 mpg UK / 52.2 mpg US). The other one will be the 150 HP (110 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) 2.0 TDI, which can burn 4.7 L / 100 km (60 mpg UK / 50 mpg US). This variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 211 km/h (131 mph). Prices for the Golf 7 4Motion will be set at an extra 1,800 euros over the base model.
BMW announced it is expanding capacity at its U.S. plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina, by 50 percent to 450,000 vehicles from 300,000 currently. In order to do that, the company will invest $1 billion, with the plant set to become BMW Group’s biggest facility in the world.
