The German based automaker Volkswagen has released a new promotional video with the all-new Golf 7, featuring the hit single “People are People” by Depeche Mode.
The new generation of the Volkswagen Golf, the MK7, is being placed into the spotlights once again after it was officially presented to the public at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September with the help of a new video, which is presenting the model with the “help” of Depeche Mode’s new hit single, “People are People”. At the end of the footage, Dave Gaham can be seen in the new Golf generation.
The all-new Volkswagen Golf will be offered in three trim levels, the Trendline, which will come as the entry-level, the mid-range Comfortline and the top version, the Highline. All trims get the battery regeneration and the stop/start system in standard. The new Golf is 4,255 mm long (+56 mm0, 2,637 mm wide (+59 mm), 1,452 mm tall (-28 mm) and the interior space for the front passengers has increased by 14 mm, while the rear legroom is plus 15 mm.
In Europe, the new Golf is coming with a 1.4L TSI turbo four-cylinder engine, producing 140 HP, equipped with cylinder deactivation technology, while the base diesel will be the 1.4L TDI Clean Diesel, with its 105 HP and 62 mpg returned on an European cycle. Additional details on the new VW Golf 7, including its price list, will be announced close to its launch.
