Volkswagen has recently released a new promotional video with the Golf 7 GTI, which is shown in action, drifting.
After it was officially presented to the public just a few months ago, and then launched in most markets across the Old Continent, the new generation of the Volkswagen Golf GTI, the Mk7, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new promotional video, released by the carmaker. The footage posted below is showing the new Golf 7 GTI drifting, so if you were looking some action frames with the new hot hatch, than you’ve come to the right place.
As a quick reminder, the new generation of the Volkswagen Golf 7 GTI is riding on the same MQB platform as the regular Golf, as the new Seat Leon or the new Audi A3. The model is powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder direct injected petrol engine, from the EA888 series, which is producing a total output of 220 PS (162 kW). The new VW Golf GTI is now available, for the first time in history, with a more powerful version, named the Golf GTI Performance. This is getting 230 PS (169 kW). Both versions get the 6-speed transmission and the stop/start as standard.
