Volkswagen has recently released a new promotional video for the Golf GTI Cabrio model.
The German based automaker Volkswagen has released a new promotional video with its Golf GTI Cabrio model, trying to place it into the spotlights more and more so that the vehicle would sale before the new generation of the hatchback will hit the market. The Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabrio is coming with a soft-top which can retract at speeds up to 30 km/h. The model has been fitted with safety equipment such as front, side and knee airbags ESP, XDS system and a limited slip differential.
The Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabrio is powered by the same engine as the regular GTI, the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo unit, with direct injection. The engine is developing a total output of 210 HP between 5,300 and 6,200 rpm and it has a peak torque of 280 Nm, available between 1,700 and 5,200 rpm. The model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 237 km/h, with the DSG transmission. The Golf GTI Cabrio is burning 7.6 liters of fuel every 100 km in an average cycle and CO2 emissions stop at 177 g/km.
