A new video with the Volkswagen Taigun Concept has been recently released by the German based automaker, revealing the model in motion.
Volkswagen has already announced its plans to put the Taigun into production, over the following years, and now the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new video, which is showing the concept car in motion, on the city streets. The final production version of the VW Taigun will be offered with front-wheel drive, as standard, and with all-wheel drive, as an option, and it will target models like the Ford EcoSport.
The new Volkswagen Taigun will share the same platform with the Up! city can and the model will be just 2,470 mm long, and its wheelbase will be just 51 mm longer than the one of its smaller brother. The Volkswagen Taigun is said to hit the production line in Sao Paulo, Brazil, for left-hand drive markets, and in Pune, India, for right-hand drive markets. The company is also considering a third production facility, in Kaluga, Russia. More details on the Volkswagen Taigun’s production version are limited for the moment and will be announced close to its debut.
