Volvo has recently taken the new C30 Polestar Concept on the Nurburgring, where the model could be seen in action.
After it was officially unveiled back in 2012, the Volvo C30 Polestar is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a video, which is showing the hot hatch on the famous German track, the Nurburgring, in action. The regular Volvo C30 may have left the production line in order to make room for the V40 but that doesn’t mean that the premium hot hatch is good for the scrap yard and in fact the model produced with Polestar is so interesting that it may need to be produced, along with the V40.
As a quick reminder, the Volvo C30 Polestar is powered by the 2.5 liter straight five-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 250 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 273 lb-ft. The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The handling in the C30 Polestar has been improved and the springs are now 30 percent stiffer. Prices for the Volvo C30 Polestar have been set at 32,440 USD over-seas, where only 250 units of the model will become available.
