Volvo has officially pulled the wraps off the brand new Concept Estate ahead of the model’s public debut which will take place next week, at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
Following a series of teaser images and leaked photos, Volvo has officially unveiled the brand new Concept Estate, which will debut during the Swiss automotive event, at the beginning of March. The model in question is looking very attractive and it has received a face which resembles the previous two concepts, with the pair of sharp looking headlights, the T-shaped LED daytime running lights or the floating grille, amongst others.
The looks of the impressive Volvo Concept Estate are being completed by the chromed dual exhaust setup, by the 21-inch five spoke alloy wheels and by some other tweaks, which will definitely help this model become popular. Volvo says that this newly unveiled one-off vehicle is actually riding on the SPA (Scalable Product Architecture), just like the other two concepts, and it’s using a member of the Drive-E engine range.
The cabin of the Volvo Concept Estate has received a tablet like touch screen display which is controlling most of the features found, along with high end materials such as the wood inlays, the cooper inserts and some other tweaks. Volvo says that the interior design of this one-off vehicle is serving as a preview for upcoming models which will be made by the company, starting with the new generation of the XC90, which will debut later on this year. More details on the Volvo Concept Estate will be announced in Geneva.
