The all-new Volvo S60 Polestar has been recently test driven by a local publication and the video has been uploaded to YouTube.
After Volvo and Polestar were announcing just last month that the Volvo S60 Polestar Performance Concept has been bought by a client for a whopping 300, 000 USD, the model is once again entering our news, this time thanks to a video found YouTube, which is revealing a test drive with the vehicle. The Volvo S60 Polestar is coming with Polestar rims, 9.5×19-inch wrapped in 265/30 tires, three-way shock absorbers, reinforced anti-roll bars, Polestar tuned EPHAS steering, modified engine mounts, reinforced bushings in sub-frame and control, stabilizing X members, 20mmfront and40mm rear increased track and many more, including the Alcantara on the seats, steering wheel and gear knob, the widened body or the Polestar-Brembo braking system.
The future rival of the BMW M3, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and Audi RS4 is getting a Volvo turbocharged T6 inline six-cylinder engine, which is developing a total output of 508 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 575 Nm (424 lb-ft). All this power is being sent to the wheels through a close ratio six-speed manual transmission, which is “feeding” the Haldex Gen4 XWD (cross-wheel-drive) system. The Volvo S60 Polestar can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of more than 300 km/h (186 mph).
