A new video with the Volvo V40 has recently been released by the Swedish based automaker, detailing the new hatchback in the brand’s lineup.
After it made its official debut this spring during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March and with the model arriving at the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the last weekend, the Volvo V40 is once again highlighted, this time with the car manufacturer releasing a new material with the model being detailed.
The all-new Volvo V40 is already available for its buyers across Europe and the starting price in the United Kingdom for the Swedish hatchback has been set at 19,745 GBP on the road, for the entry-level version. For the money, customers will get the 1.6 liter diesel engine, with its 112 horsepower and 199 lb-ft of torque (270 Nm), mated to a standard six-speed manual transmission.
The Volvo V40 is coming in three trim levels, the ES, the SE and the SE Lux and future owners of the model will have to choose between five engines, two petrol burners and three diesels. The entry-level variant is coming with a start/stop system, which is helping the hatchback’s fuel consumption (3.6 l/100 km / 78.5 mpg) and CO2 emissions (94 g/km).
