The new Swedish hatchback Volvo V40 has once again leaked, this time in a promotional video, ahead of its official debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show on the 6th of March.
After the new Volvo V40 has been teased a couple of times and after that the model has leaked in quite a few occasions, you may think that nothing new could be offered on the hatchback, and you’re right, nothing new, except for a promotional video, which will show you what you have already seen in previous articles, and that is the new V40 model, which isn’t a secret for quite some time now.
While the new V40 hatchback is still leaking and all of its angles are visible, starting with the rear right end and ending with the interior design, Volvo is taking every step like nothing happened and the model is still a surprise, so unfortunately we don’t have any technical details on it. The exterior design of the new Volvo V40 is bringing the model closer to its future competitors, making it more appealing and combining some elements from the C0 and the S60 sedan.
The new Volvo V40 will go against models like the BMW 1-Series and the Audi A3 Sportback and it will replace the current three-door C30. Rumors say that the hatchback will wear the 2013 model year in its name, which means that the vehicle will hit the dealerships sometimes this year. More details on the Volvo V40 will be announced at the Geneva Motor, when the model will be officially presented to the public.
