Volvo has released a new promotional video with the V60 Cross Country which is showing the model in a whole new light.
After it was officially presented to the public a week ago, during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, the Volvo V60 Cross Country is being highlighted once more, this time with the help of a new video. The model in question has been pitted against Anton Krupika ultra runner, Tom Oehler pro mountain biker and Jean-Baptiste Chandelier expert paraglider, in a descent race from 3,404 meters altitude in the Pyrenees. The clip is showing basically the on-road and off-road capabilities of the model.
The new Volvo V60 Cross Country has been based on the regular V60 and it can be easily distinguishable thanks to the plastic body cladding, front and rear skid plates, 65 mm increased ride height and so on. The model has also received the Sensus Connect infotainment system, the Volvo On Call telematics, leather, navigation, sunroof, 18-inch alloy wheels and others. Power is being provided by a 2.5 liter five-cylinder turbocharged petrol burner, with 250 HP (186 kW) and 360 Nm (266 lb-ft) of torque, connected to a 6-speed automatic gearbox powering the AWD.
