The North American based aftermarket specialists at Hennessey Performance have recently unveiled their latest creation, the VR1200 Twin Turbo Coupe with 1,226 HP.
Hennessey Performance is one of the most ambitious tuning companies out there and their latest project is even more impressive than previous ones. As you have probably figured it out yet, the model in question, which has been named the VR1200 Twin Turbo Coupe is based on the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe, but the most interesting fact on the model is its total output, which now stands at a whopping 1,226 horsepower.
According to the North American tuning company, the CR1200 Twin Turbo Coupe is powered by a large 7.0 liter V8 aluminum engine, which is producing a total output of 1,226 horsepower (914 kW) at 6,400 rpm and it has a peak torque of 1,501 Nm (1,109 lb-ft) available at 4,000 rpm. The model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 389 km/h (242 mph). The quarter mile is done in 10.2 seconds at 227 km/h (141 mph). Only 12 units of this model will be produced by the good news is that the VR1200 package will be offered for CTS-V sedans and wagons too.
