Bentley has recently released a new teaser video with the Continental GT3, ahead of the model’s public debut scheduled for the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Bentley’s latest creation, in terms of racing cars, is named the Continental GT3 and, as you might have already guessed, this has been based on the Continental GT. The racer is not road legal and it’s coming with a revised front fascia, new front and rear bumpers, a large carbon fiber rear wing, a racing suspension system a carbon fiber body, a stripped out interior with a racing seat and steering wheel and some other tweaks.
As for the engine found under its hood, the new Bentley Continental GT3 is coming with a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is mated to a six-speed sequential racing transmission, sending power to the rear-wheel drive. Bentley says that the race car will be a whopping 1,000 kg (2,205 lbs) lighter than the road-going version. Additional on the Bentley Continental GT3 are limited for the moment but they will be announced this weekend, during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
