British race car driver Justin Bell has recently went for a spin in the new Aston Martin Vanquish.
In the new episode of “World’s Fastest Car Show”, Justin Bell is presenting the 2013 Aston Martin Vanquish. The former race car driver is talking about the sports car’s aggressive styling, starting with the curvy front fenders and ending with the taillights. The footage posted below is also showing the Vanquish’s unique center-mounted key fob receiver, which is unleashing the V12 beast found under its hood. The sports car is than taken up to 150 mph and the result is worthy of the “gentleman’s tourer” name.
As a quick reminder, the Aston Martin Vanquish has been revealed back in 2012 and the British supercar is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine, producing a total output of 565 BHP and having a peak torque of 620 Nm (457 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic transmission which is sending power to the rear-wheel drive. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint is done in just 4.1 seconds and the top speed achieved by the new Vanquish is 295 km/h (183 mph). Prices for the Aston Martin Vanquish have been set at 189,995 GBP in the UK.
