The famous American singer, song writer and record producer, Pitbull, is currently promoting the Dodge Dart in two new ads, which have the tough job of bringing in more customers.

The North American based automotive giant, Chrysler Group LLC, has decided to use the famous singer Pitbull in order to promote the Dodge Dart. Armando Perez, by his real name, is featured in a series of television commercials for the compact sedan. This isn’t the first time Chrysler has used celebrities to help it promote its rides and it has also collaborated with Eminem, Clint Eastwood, Dr. Dre or John Varvatos.

As a small reminder, the 2013 Dodge Dart is the company’s attempt to get back into the compact car segment and go against models like the Chevrolet Cruze or the Ford Focus. The model has a starting price of 15,995 USD for the entry-level SE version, while the top of the line R/T will cost 22,495 USD. The cheapest version is getting the 2.0 liter 16-valve Tigershark I-4 engine, which is developing a total output of 160 HP and 148 lb-ft of torque. The unit can be mated to either a six-speed automatic transmission, as an option or a six-speed manual as standard.
