The French based automaker Renault has recently released the first teaser video of the updated Megane RS Trophy, which will become the new Nurburgring king.
After releasing a couple of teaser images with the updated Megane RS Trophy, Renault is placing the model in question into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a video, which is showing some bits and pieces of the upcoming Nurburgring king. The video posted below is allowing us to make a first impression on the model in question and we also get to see its rear end, its front fascia and its side, for the very first time.
The Nurburgring lap record, for front-wheel drive production cars, has been “stolen” by Seat, with its Leon Cupra 280, which managed to complete a lap in just 7 minutes and 58.4 seconds, but this is about to be shattered, as Renault will soon unveil the updated Megane RS Trophy. This will be coming with the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo engine which will produce more than the current 265 HP (195 kW) and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft) of torque, thanks to the Akrapovic exhaust system. The model will also get a new suspension system and Michelin tires. The updated Renault Megane RS Trophy will be officially unveiled on the 16th of June.
