Alfa Romeo has recently taken the impressive and new 4C to the Balocco test track, where the sports car has burned some rubber while being filmed.
Alfa Romeo’s newest production car is named the 4C and the model will go on sale later on this year against models like the Porsche Cayman. The Alfa Romeo 4C is powered by a 1.75 liter four-cylinder mid-mounted turbocharged engine, the same one used on the Giulietta. The total output produced by the unit stands at a total of 240 HP (176 kW) and 350 Nm of torque (258 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a dual clutch transmission.
Thanks to this configuration, the Alfa Romeo 4C can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.5 seconds and it can reach a top speed of more than 250 km/h (155 mph). The new Italian sports car signed by Alfa Romeo has been officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, earlier this year, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The model will go on sale by the end of 2013. You can check it out in action in the video posted below.
