Bugatti has recently released the first video with the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car Edition, which is showing the hypercar reaching its top speed.
The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car Edition has seen some tough times these past few weeks after Guiness World Records has withdrawn its fastest car in the world title and given it to the SSC Tuatara, because it considered that the VW-owned vehicle had its speed limiter removed. But Guiness has quickly came to its senses and gave Bugatti its title back, and now we can actually see the model reaching its top speed in the video posted below.
The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car Edition is definitely a car with one of the longest names in the world and the model is powered by the same 7.9 liter W16 quad turbo engine, which is good for 1,200 HP (882 kW) and 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft) of torque. Power is being sent to the wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, which is allowing the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds. Prices for the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Car Edition start at 1.99 million EUR and the hypercar can reach 408.84 km/h (254.04 mph).
