We all know about the scandal that engulfed last year BBC’s most famous programme – Top Gear – but the past is in the past and the show is now gearing up for an all new series.
As such Top Gear is trying to entice us with the first teaser video of the upcoming new season of the show which is set to feature an eclectic ensemble cast of hosts. Meanwhile, we’re eagerly awaiting the response from the former star team that was lead by Jeremy Clarkson – as all three of them moved over at Amazon Prime for an automotive series of their own. As for the regular Top Gear, Chris Evans has been mandated to lead the show host duties since last year in a bid to put behind the so-called “fracas scandal”. And earlier this year we also found out the ensemble host cast will also include Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris, Eddie Jordan, Sabine Schmitz, Rory Reid, and the mysterious The Stig that will complete the team in his well known unique way. Anyways, with so many stars we’re wondering if the usual crowd of public will have space in the studio or if they will have any guest stars on location.
The teaser trailer is prepping us for the show’s inauguration in May this year, revealing it hasn’t lost its love for quality imagery and taste for special vehicles. The vehicle cast appears to include the McLaren 675 LT, Ferrari’s F12 Tdf, Ariel Nomad, and, as reported before a couple of Reliant three-wheelers (they seem to be a consistent pun of the show). Everythin is going wild of course, as Top Gear claims “we’ll bring you more before the new series kicks off in May,” if we “sit back, turn it up and watch the new trailer” which also has “an 820 hp Aston Vulcan at Yas Marina. At night. Doing donuts.”
