The McLaren P1 has been recently brought to London, where one unit of the impressive hybrid supercar was displayed in London.
Supercar season has begun in England’s capital a few weeks ago and today we can proudly present McLaren’s newest creation, the P1, in London. The model in question was seen in front of The Grove Hotel, in Hertfordshire, and this seems to be exactly the same car which was presented during the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, a few weeks ago, at Lake Como, in Italy.
As a quick reminder, the McLaren P1 will only be produced in 375 units and its starting price has been set at 1,025,545 EUR (866,000 GBP / 1,340,740 USD) at the current exchange rates. The model is rivaling the Ferrari LaFerrari and the upcoming Porsche 918 Spyder and it’s powered by a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 engine, from the MP4-12C and the 12C Spyder, backed up by a 179 HP (132 kW) and 260 Nm of torque (192 lb-ft) electric motor. The total output stands at 916 HP (674 kW) and 900 Nm of torque (663 lb-ft), enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in less than 3 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
