A brand new promotional video with the Jaguar XFR-S being driven on a mountain road has been recently released by the carmaker.
The Jaguar XFR-S is ending up in our news once again after being officially presented to the public last week during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, this time with the help of a new video which is revealing the model in action. Besides the driving footage, the video posted below is also revealing the new Jaguar XFR-S going sideways, along with the exhaust sound of the powerful sedan.
Power to the new Jaguar XFR-S is being provided by a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine, the same one used on the XKR-S too, which is producing a total output of 542 HP (405 kW) and 680 Nm of torque (502 lb-ft). The engine is mated to an eight-speed ZF transmission with Quickshift. The Jaguar XFR-S is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). The model has been fitted with Dynamic Stability Control system and with a recalibrated Electronic Active Differential.
