A brand new Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG has managed to beat the more powerful CLS63 AMG in a drag race.
The newest entry to the AMG family is named the A45 and it’s basically a premium hot hatch. Haters are saying that the A45 AMG isn’t a real AMG model and if you think that too, than you should check out the video posted below, where the hot hatch has managed to beat the CLS63 AMG in a drag race. The footage posted below represents Auto Express’ drive test of the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG.
As a quick reminder, the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG is coming with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine under its hood, which is producing an impressive 360 HP (256 kW), at 6,000 rpm, with a peak torque of 450 Nm (332 lb-ft), available between 2,250 and 5,000 rpm. The engine is mated to an AMG Speed Shift DCT seven-speed sports transmission, sending power to the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. The A45 AMG can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds, before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
