The new generation of the Range Rover Sport has managed to set a new world record for standard vehicles at the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
After telling you about time has come for yet another vehicle to set a new world record at the famous over-seas event, this time for standard vehicles. The model in question is the new generation of the Range Rover Sport, which managed to complete the course in 12 minutes and 35.61 seconds.
Land Rover says that the popular SUV, in its new generation, managed to do the 12.42-mile course with an average speed of 59.17 mph. The 2014 Range Rover Sport used on the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb was equipped with the large 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine. The unit is good for 510 HP.
