The new generation of the Skoda Octavia RS has been recently spotted while being tested on the famous German track, the Nurburgring.
After fully leaking just a few months ago, and then teased by the Czech based automaker, the new generation of the Skoda Octavia RS, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of a video. The footage posted below is showing the new Octavia RS being tested on the Nurburgring, so if you wanted to see the model in action, you’re in the right place.
The 2014 Skoda Octavia is expected to be powered by the same engine found under the hood of the new Volkswagen Golf GTI generation, the 2.0 liter TFSI, which should produce approximately 220 HP (164 kW) and 350 Nm of torque (258 lb-ft). A more powerful version of the model might be offered, with 250 HP. The 2014 Skoda Octavia RS will be officially presented to the public on the 11th of July, during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. More details on the model remain unknown for the moment.
