The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento has been recently spinned by the Stig on the Top Gear test track after trying to see how fast the supercar goes.
Richard Hammond has taken the impressive Lamborghini Sesto Elemento for a spin in the Top Gear Season 20 Episode 5, which aired on Sunday, the 28th of July, and the Italian supercar has been brought on the TG test track, in order to find out how fast it is. The Stig sat behind the wheel and gave just about everything but he couldn’t keep it on the track. This isn’t the first time when this happens and a Koenigsegg CCX has eaten some tires on the same Top Gear test track a few years ago.
As a quick reminder, the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is a two-seater V10 high-performance car made by Lamborghini in 2011, which was officially presented to the public in 2010 during the Paris Motor Show. The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is powered by a large 5.2 liter V10 engine, the same one used on the Lamborghini Gallardo, which is producing a total output of 570 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque (398 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a six-speed semi-automatic transmission with paddle shifters which is sending power to the all-wheel drive system. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is over in just 2.5 seconds and the supercar can reach a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
