The Touring Superleggera Disco Volante can be seen starting and revving its engine in the video posted below, filmed at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.
After we have seen the Touring Superleggera Disco Volante in a world premiere, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, a couple of months ago, the model is entering our news once again, this time with the help of a video. The footage posted below is showing the impressive sports car revving its engine during the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, at Lake Como, in Italy, over the weekend.
The Touring Superleggera Disco Volante is following the design study unveiled last year, and it’s based on the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. The model in question is a two-seater Gran Turismo which is powered by a front central mounted 4.7 liter V8 engine. The Touring Superleggera Disco Volante will be launched in six months after the Alfa Romeo 8C will become available. Production of each unit will take 4,000 hours of manual work. Sales can be addressed at the Milan factory.
