A yellow unit of the Ferrari LaFerrari has been recently spotted chilling in Maranello, at the company’s headquarters.
Ferrari is already known to offer the new LaFerrari in shades like Rosso Corsa (red), Giallo Modena (yellow) and Nero (black), but this is actually the second time when we get to see the yellow finished version and, compared to the previous time, the video quality is much better. Speaking of colors, Ferrari will probably get beyond the “classic” palette as Cristiano Ronaldo has ordered a brand new LaFerrari finished in blue. I wonder if the company will offer pink versions of it too.
The Ferrari LaFerrari is the carmaker’s first ever hybrid supercar and the model is a direct rival to the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder. The new Ferrari LaFerrari has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Power to the “green” supercar is being provided by a 6,262cc V12 engine, which is good for 800 HP (588 kW) and 700 Nm of torque, backed up by a 163 HP (120 kW) and 270 Nm of torque electric motor. The total output stands at 963 HP (708 kW), enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in less than 3 seconds and a 350 km/h (217 mph) top speed.
