According to the guys from BimmerToday, who have used a VIN decoder of a pre-production model, the high-performance two-door compact car is making use of the 3.0 liter six-cylinder turbocharged N55 engine, which is capable of producing a total of 370 PS (272 kW).

It seems that this particular vehicle has been produced on the 18th of September and it is using the Long Beach blue color for its exterior design, along with a six-speed manual transmission and the 19-inch double spoke style 437 M wheels. If you came here hoping to find out some performance specifications on the new BMW M2 Coupe, you will be disappointed because these aren’t available just yet. However, previous reports are indicating that the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint might be done in the 4-second range and top speed will be electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).
