The newest creation signed by Volkswagen to be unveiled at the 2013 Worthersee, besides the Golf GTI Concept, is named the Amarok R-Style, and it’s a concept version of the popular pickup truck. According to the German based automaker, the model in question has been fitted with a carbon fiber diffuser, with big intakes under the front bumper, with sill extensions, two chromed tailpipes and it’s now riding on a fresh set of 22-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in 295/35 performance tires.
The cabin of the VW Amarok R-Style Concept is getting the GTI treatment, with race bucket seats, sport steering wheel and a black/red/white color theme. The interior has been also fitted with a 500w subwoofer, with an 8-inch touch screen and with a carbon fiber dashboard. The model is powered by a 3.0 liter V6 TDI engine, which is good for 272 HP (200 kW) and 600 Nm of torque (442 lb-ft). The unit is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which is allowing it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. More details on the model will be announced during Worthersee.
