Volkswagen Amarok R-Style Concept going to Worthersee image

Volkswagen has recently announced its plans to introduce the Amarok R-Style to the 2013 Worthersee, pharm this month.

The newest creation signed by Volkswagen to be unveiled at the 2013 Worthersee, and besides the Golf GTI Concept, is named the Amarok R-Style, and it’s a concept version of the popular pickup truck. According to the German based automaker, the model in question has been fitted with a carbon fiber diffuser, with big intakes under the front bumper, with sill extensions, two chromed tailpipes and it’s now riding on a fresh set of 22-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in 295/35 performance tires.

The cabin of the VW Amarok R-Style Concept is getting the GTI treatment, with race bucket seats, sport steering wheel and a black/red/white color theme. The interior has been also fitted with a 500w subwoofer, with an 8-inch touch screen and with a carbon fiber dashboard. The model is powered by a 3.0 liter V6 TDI engine, which is good for 272 HP (200 kW) and 600 Nm of torque (442 lb-ft). The unit is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which is allowing it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. More details on the model will be announced during Worthersee.
