The German aftermarket specialists at ABT Sportsline have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, an upgrade package for the Volkswagen Beetle 2.0 TDI.
According to the tuner, the new upgrade package is available for the Volkswagen Beetle 2.0 TDI and, besides the mechanical changes, some tweaks are being offered for its exterior design too, including modified front and rear bumpers, a lip spoiler, eyelashes on the headlights, two oval exhaust pipes in the rear and a fresh set of racing wheels signed by ABT in size 18-, 19- or 20-inch, which are covering the red brake calipers.
ABT Sportsline says that besides the new beefed up look of the Volkswagen Beetle, the model is also getting a power boost and thanks to the remapped ECU in the 2.0 liter TDI diesel engine, and the new exhaust system, the model is now coming with 170 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque, which is allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.8 seconds. The standard output offered on the 2.0 liter TDI diesel engine for the new Beetle is 140 HP and 320 Nm of torque and the model’s 0-100 km/h acceleration takes 9.5 seconds. No details on the price have been announced yet.
