Volkswagen has officially pulled the wraps off its newest creation, the Beetle Cabrio Karmann Edition, during the 2014th edition of the Leipzig Motor Show.
The brand new Volkswagen Beetle Cabrio Karmann Edition has been unveiled during the 2014 Leipzig Motor Show (AMI Leipzig) as the model in question has been designed to honor Karmann, which used to make a lot of Bettle Cabriolets between 1949 and 1980.
“Volkswagen is paying tribute to the body manufacturing company Karmann with this new special model. Between 1949 and 1980, the company produced many Beetle Cabriolet cars for Volkswagen”, as the company is saying in its official press release.
The new Volkswagen Beetle Cabrio Karmann Edition is available in seven colors and it has the unique Sioux Brown power folding soft top, to help it stand out from a crowd. The model is riding on 18-inch Disc style alloy wheels and it has been equipped with special badging. The interior design has two-tone sport seats, alloy pedals, a leather wrapped steering wheel, a wind deflector, matte aluminum dashboard, Karmann branded door sill plates and more. The usual engine and transmission options will become available for this model, once this will go on sale next month.
