Volkswagen Beetle Fender Edition revealed at Leipzig Motor Show image

Volkswagen has recently pulled the wraps off the Beetle Fender Edition during the 2012 Leipzig Motor Show, which is actually named the Auto Mobil International (AMI) in Leipzig, Germany.

The Volkswagen Beetle Fender has been officially presented to the public back in September 2011 during the Frankfurt Motor Show, but back then the model was in its concept form. The concept car has recently came to life and this will be offered for sale in Europe starting with this autumn and the model will also arrive at the over-seas dealerships later on.

According to the German based automaker, the Volkswagen Beetle Fender Edition is powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder TSI engine, which is developing a total output of 200 horsepower. The model has also been fitted with seats with exclusive fabric inserts, brushed chrome side mirrors, bi-xenon headlights, the Fender logo, 18-inch Disc aluminum-alloy wheels and the vehicle has been painted in a Deep Black Metallic.

The Volkswagen Beetle Fender is also coming with a 400-watt sound system, with four Fender DeluxeTM tweeters, two Fender TWinTM speakers, two Fender rear speakers and a Fender BassmanTM subwoofer. The Beetle Fender has been made in order to pay tribute to the legendary American guitar manufacturer, Fender and the model will go on sale, just like we said above, in autumn on the Old Continent and at a later time in the United States.
