Volkswagen has recently announced its plans to introduce the Beetle Fender Edition in the United States, where the model will be priced from 24,440 USD.
German based automaker says that the VW Beetle Fender Edition is getting a Deep Black Metallic finish, Fender badges, HID headlights, brushed chrome side mirrors, 18-inch alloy wheels and some other features which will help it stand out in a crowd. The Beetle Fender will also get the leather wrapped steering wheel, keyless access system with push start, a Fender premium audio system, dual-voice coil speakers, V-Tex leatherette sport seats for the Turbo models and touch-screen display.
“Volkswagen of America, Inc. today announced pricing for the 2013 Beetle Fender® Edition, a special edition of the popular coupe that marries iconic names from music and motoring”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release.
The Volkswagen Beetle Fender Edition is coming with a choice of two engines, with the entry-level version getting a 2.5 liter five-cylinder unit which is producing a total output of 170 HP (125 kW) and the 2.0 liter four-cylinder developing 200 HP (147 kW). The Volkswagen Beetle Fender Edition is now available for order over-seas for a starting price set at 24,440 USD.
