The first image with the new Volkswagen Beetle Kong Fu Edition has recently made its way onto the web, ahead of the model’s debut scheduled for the Guangzhou Auto Show, on November 21.
The German based automaker Volkswagen is getting ready to introduce a new special edition of the Beetle in China, the Kong Fu Edition, which will be officially presented to the public on the 21st of November, during the first day of the 2013 Guangzhou Auto Show. The model in question has received some interesting features, added to its exterior design, which should make it more popular with its future Chinese customers than the current standard version.
The 2014 Volkswagen Beetle Kong Fu Edition is coming with a special black paint, with darkened windows, with 180inch alloy wheels and with some other tweaks. Power to the model is being provided by a 1.4 liter TSI petrol engine, which is producing a total output of 160 HP and it has a peak torque of 240 Nm. Prices for the regular VW Beetle start at 198,800 yuan in the Asian country but we have no clue on how much the Kong Fu Edition costs. More details on this model will probably be announced during the Guangzhou Motor Show.
