The German based automaker Volkswagen is planning to put the Buggy Up! Concept into production, which might make its way onto the market over the following years.
Producing the Volkswagen Buggy Up! Concept is currently being discussed by the company’s bosses and in order to see whether this model will be feasible, the carmaker will study the market. If it will indeed make its way onto the market, the Volkswagen Buggy Up! Concept is expected to be sold only across the Old Continent and rumors are saying that the model will never see daylight in the United States, unless someone will decide to ship it from Europe.
The production start of the new model will mean the New Small Family, owned by Volkswagen, will grow, but it remains uncertain, for the moment, whether or not the VW Buggy Up! Concept will actually get the green lights. As a quick reminder, the model in question has been officially presented to the public back in 2011 during the Frankfurt Motor Show. Its styling has been inspired by the 1960’s Meters Manx and it has a waterproof interior and two seats.
