Volkswagen has recently announced that the new CC will be launched on the Australian market and the model is expected to be a successful one.
Even if the German based automaker Volkswagen has officially announced that the new CC will be launched in Australia, we still don’t know the price list of the model or even its starting price, but one thing is for sure, the VW CC has to be cheaper than its competition in order to attract some more customers into the brand so the Mercedes-Benz CLS will have a direct rival.
According to the car manufacturer, the Volkswagen CC will be available in Australia for its future customers with a choice of two engines, a petrol and a diesel, with the first one coming as a 3.6 liter FSI V6, which is producing a total output of 300 horsepower at 6,600 rpm, sent to the 4MOTION all-wheel drive system, while the second one, a 2.0 TDI unit, is developing 170 HP at 4,200 rpm and it’s using the same AWD system but this time as an option, because the standard version is getting front-wheel drive. Both engines are mated to a six-speed double clutch Direct Shift Transmission or a DSG in short. More details on the VW CC in Australia will be announced soon.
