The German based automaker Volkswagen has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the Cross Up!, ahead of its public debut scheduled for next month in Geneva.
After starting its life as a concept more than a year ago, the Volkswagen Cross Up! is now getting closer than ever to its future customers, this time with the help of a production version which was recently unveiled by the carmaker. According to the company, the Volkswagen Cross Up! is the smallest “Cross” model in its lineup, after the Cross Golf and the Cross Polo.
The VW Cross Up! can easily stand out from a crowd thanks to its modified exterior looks, to the plastic body claddings, to the 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 185/50 tires and to some other tweaks. The cabin of the model hasn’t been left aside either and this is now getting chromed air vents, a slightly modified dashboard and new material for the upholstery. Under the hood we can find the 1.0 liter three-cylinder engine with 7 HP, mated to a five-speed manual transmission, the same unit in the same configuration from the standard Up!. More details on the VW Cross Up! will be announced during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show next month.
