Volkswagen has recently announced a series of updates for the CrossPolo, for the Polo BlueMotion and for the BlueGT, which will be introduced next week, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
According to the car manufacturer, the new Volkswagen CrossPolo has been given some silver inserts onto its roof rails, on both of its bumpers and on the mirror housing, and it’s also benefiting from the body cladding of the bumpers, of the sills and the wheelhouses. The vehicle in question has also received an updated gear and parking brake lever, a new steering wheel and a fresh set of 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Volkswagen Polo TSI BlueMotion is getting a 1.0 liter three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine. The unit is rated at 89 HP (66 kW) and it’s allowing the model in question to return 4.1L / 100km (68.9 mpg UK / 57.3 mpg US). The Polo TDI BlueMotion is coming with a 1.4 liter three-cylinder diesel burner, which is producing 74 HP (55 kW) and it’s returning 3.1L / 100km (91.1 mpg UK / 75.8 mpg US).
The Polo BlueGT is sitting below the Polo GTI and it’s coming with the muscular front and rear bumpers, with the wider side sills, the rear spoiler, the 17-inch wheels, the 15 mm lowered ride height and some other tweaks. This vehicle is powered by an updated 1.4 liter four-cylinder direct injected gasoline burner, which is developing 148 HP (110 kW), being 10 HP (7 kW) more powerful than its predecessor. The R-Line packages for the Polo have been also revised by VW.
