The German based automaker Volkswagen is planning to introduce the CrossPolo to India soon where the model is expected to become a hit.
The all-new Volkswagen CrossPolo has been officially presented to the European audience quite some time ago but it seems that the German based automaker has more plans for the model. According to the company, the Volkswagen CrossPolo is getting ready to be launched in India, where the hatchback off-roader should hit the market sometimes next year. The model can be easily distinguished from the regular version thanks to the rugged off-road kit and the all-terrain looks.
VW considers that the CrossPolo is tough enough to tackle Himalayan mountain roads but, then again, everyone is allowed to dream. The CrossoPolo is getting roof rails where 75kg of luggage can be mounted, a 15 mm increased ride height, a silver diffuser, plastic body claddings and a fresh set of large 17-inch wheels, which are completing the off-road look. At first, the Volkswagen CrossPolo will get a 1.5 liter four-cylinder diesel engine under its hood in India, but eventually more units are expected to make their way onto the model. Additional details on the hatchback off-roader aimed towards India are limited for the moment and will be announced close to its launch. A photo gallery with the CrossPolo can be seen here.
