Volkswagen e-Co-Motion Concept announced for Geneva

The German based automaker Volkswagen has recently announced its plans to introduce the e-Co-Motion Concept to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, next week.

The newest creation signed by Volkswagen is named the e-Co-Motion and it’s a concept van which will be officially presented to the public for the first time, in a concept form, next week, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The model in question is basically a smaller version of the Transporter which is expected to make its way onto the market in the following years, if it will be well received by the audience in Geneva.

The Volkswagen e-Co-Motion Concept is 4.55 meters long (179 in), 1,90 meters wide (74.8 in) and 1.96 meters tall (77.2 in), compared to the 4.9 meters in length (192.6 in) of the Transporter, in its smallest version. The total payload of the e-Co-Motion is 800 kg (1,763 pounds) and the model has a load volume of up to 4.6 cubic meters. No technical details on the Volkswagen e-Co-Motion Concept have been released yet so the model might be powered by just about anything, starting with a diesel engine and going through an electric motor, a hybrid, or even a natural gas unit.
